About Neon Game Cave
Neon Game Cave is a free games site made by Malcolm Christopher: 38 board, word, puzzle and arcade games you can play straight away in your browser — on a phone, a tablet or a computer. There is nothing to download and no account needed: pick a name and play. (If you like, sign in with Google to keep your games safe in an account and go on the global leaderboards.)
Play the computer, play on your own, or play other people online. Players connect directly to each other, browser to browser, so games are quick and nothing about them is kept on a server.
Playing with other people
- Challenge anyone in the lobby to a game, or open a table that others can join.
- Strangers can only use quick chat — a set of friendly ready-made messages. Nobody you don't know can send you their own words.
- Friends' chat rooms: make a room and share its code with people you know. Free text chat is only for friends who share a room code (up to 40 people per code).
- You can mute or block any player.

Credits
The games, art and most music and sound are made by Malcolm Christopher. The site also uses free and open-source parts and assets — among them the Stockfish chess engine, the SCOWL word list, three.js for 3D, and a few free 3D models and sound effects. Every one is credited in the Credits & licences window at the bottom of the games page and in LICENSES.md.
Game names like Ludo, Mancala and Liar's Dice are traditional. Our other games are our own takes on classic ideas and aren't connected to any brand.
