How to play Four in a Row
Goal
Be the first to get four of your discs in a row — across, up and down, or diagonally.
Setup
The board stands upright: 7 columns, 6 rows. It starts empty. The first player (Red) goes first.
On your turn
- Tap a column. Your disc drops to the lowest empty space in that column.
- You can't play in a full column.
How the game ends
- Four in a row wins immediately.
- If all 42 spaces fill up with no four in a row, it's a draw.
Tips
- The middle column is the strongest — it's part of the most possible lines.
- Always check whether your opponent is one disc away from four before you move.
- Try to build two threats at once: your opponent can only block one.
